Crazy Hair Day

It was Crazy Hair Day at school. Devin came home with a special treat (pizza!) and green hair! 

ER again

Devin was running to the car (despite my protestations) after his music lesson and fell on some gravel, gashed his forehead and needed a few stitches this morning. 

Date with Nana

Nana came over and we had a nice lunch then some plaything afterwards. Devin was so glad to see her. 

Closet

After I put Devin to bed and got in the shower I heard some funny noises coming from Devin room. I got out of the shower and opened his door to find that in the 10 minutes I was washing my hair and showering that he had emptied out his ENTIRE closet - laundry all out of the hamper, puzzles out of their boxes, the animal magnets out of their box, the wooden truck pieces out of their container, the folded blankets and comforters, the games and pop- up tent and crawl tube...

National Night Out

We went to the National Night Out last night. We ended up going to two separate parties so Devin could play with his friend from school, Xavier. He had a blast then topped off the evening with a run through the sprinklers! 

More Waterpark Fun

We went to the Waterpark again. Devin pointed out many times on the drive that he was "being patient."  He had a great time. 

Line of The Day

Driving on the highway we pass car dealerships bedecked with balloons, banners, steamers, etc. Each time Devin says "Look, a car party!"
