Transitions

Next year, Devin will be in Gingko class (graduating from Camellia class). He has done some transition days at school in Gingko class, pairing with an older child. Here he is in Gingko, trying it out.

Kisses

Today when I picked up Devin he leaned in, tilted his head to the side and went in for a kiss on the lips with Coco. She did not reciprocate. Then he tried again. Determined that one.

Monterey, Part VI

We had such a great time -thanks to Grandma and Auntie Kathleen for all their help. We were sad to leave our incredible hotel but happy to come home.

Devin helped us pack up.

Goodbye, Clement!

Monterey, Part V

We had dinner at the Fish Hopper twice- it was that good! Waterfront views for watching the tides shift, weather change, lots of birds, des otters, and seals. Spectacular service even despite Devin's less-than-spectacular behavior. So nice.

Afterwards we let Devin run amuck near the pier but it started to get really cold.

Monterey, Part IV

On the bike ride we stopped at a beach to let Devin get his energy out (photos courtesy of Auntie Kathleen).

Monterey, Part III

The next day, Devin went to the park with Auntie Kathleen and Grandma.

The weather was really nice so we rented bicycles and took in more spectacular scenery (scenic photos courtesy of Auntie Kathleen!)

Monterey, Part II

The next day after the morning lectures we visited the aquarium. Devin only had patience for about an hour so we headed outside. It was raining, so we did the 17-Mile Drive - beautiful, scenic coastal drive and Devin took a much-needed power nap in the car.

Monterey, Part I

We went to Monterey for a conference and Grandma and Auntie Kathleen came to watch Devin during the lectures. The first day we went to dinner and Devin did so well.

We stayed in a very nice hotel with a balcony and view of Cannery Row.

Kenneth!

We ran into Kenneth at the park today (one of Devin's classmates at school). He is doing great after a serious hospitalization with many complications. They were so happy to see one another and we are so glad that Kenneth is finally better!
