Hike and a Breakfast Date

We went on a brief hike then ventured taking Devin out to breakfast. We had not taken him out to eat recently due to adventures in throwing food and inability to sit still. He did really well, even making friends with the man at the next table, so we may be back in business.

Cold!

It's been quite cold!

Determined

Donned in his new Mickey-Mouse sweatshirt from Grandma, Devin was determined to ride his new balance bike. He needs to grow 1-2 more inches. For now, I run along and push him.

*the scrape on his forehead was not balance-bike related.

An airplane was a brief distraction- Devin held still enough for some photos.

Later on Christmas

We watched some slide shows of Aunt Kathleen's trips to Honduras and Thailand, had hot chocolate, and saw How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Devin liked Max, the dog.

Christmas

Devin was so happy to have everyone here for Christmas. He received lovely gifts and had a great time playing with all of them.

Devin did not enjoy seeing Santa so much this year.

Devin was trying to see where the noise was coming from.

Hat?

Nope, it's not a hat. It's a little potty. Hopefully it won't be used as a hat after its used!

Holiday Lights

We took a drive to Picardy Drive to see all the houses with their holiday lights. Devin kept saying "light," "light!", "LIGHT!"

Picking out the Christmas Tree

Grandma and Grandpa helped Devin pick out the tree. Getting the stand for the tree proved somewhat of a difficult task.

Grandma and Grandpa have come to visit. Grandpa read Devin "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" before bed.

Devin's Holiday Party

'Tis the season! Devin's daycare had an adorable holiday party. The children sang Christmas and Hanukkah songs (along with a few others) that they had rehearsed. Too cute for words!!!
