Nap Time

Devin has been avoiding naps by all means possible. Today he was supposed to be napping and as I listened outside the door, I heard him saying "open, open, open." I looked in the room and he was nowhere to be seen! Then I heard the "open, open, open" coming from the other side of the room - he had closed himself in the closet. He didn't end up napping at all today despite my best efforts.

Cousin Ryan

Cousin Ryan is a basketball star and we went to watch a couple of his games today. Devin really watched the games and then tried to dribble the ball like the big boys.

Zoo Date

Since Papa had to work today, Devin and I went to the zoo. He had a great time and really liked the sky tram.

After finding a mud puddle at the playground today, Devin was the messiest baby there. And maybe the happiest...

Sunny Day at the Park

We had an unusually warm, sunny weekend. Yesterday Devin went swimming at the neighborhood pool. Today we went to the playground in the redwoods. Later we had a barbecue - Devin is not a fan of salmon.

Devin insisted on running around this stump at least 15 times saying "ready, set, go!" each time. Then he stole my sunglasses!

Sometimes I walk by the hitch and Devin has turned all the handles up - like a magical little mischievous house elf.

We got Devin a big boy bed. Here he is practicing in it. He's not using it officially yet.
