Grandpa

Grandpa was in town for work so we met him for dinner. Most of Devin's dinner ended up on the floor.

Visit to see Auntie Melanie

We went to see Auntie Melanie yesterday. After brunch we played with Natalie and Rob. Then, Devin demonstrated his remarkable piano skills.

Cold

Devin had a cold - he is all recovered now. Here he is at 5am last week.

Uncle Peter's Birthday Cake Indulgence

We visited Auntie Loralie and Uncle Peter to share in some belated-birthday cake. It was decadent. Devin enjoyed a few crumbs of cake, charging the dogs (Lily and Levi), and generally wreaking havoc.

For now they are blue but there are flecks of greenish-hazel in the center.

Driving

Devin has been pushing his little bike around lately. He does need driving lessons as he tends to crash into things pretty frequently.

Nico's Party

Devin's friend Nico had a birthday party at the Maritime Harbor Park. The views of the bridges and downtown San Francisco were astounding.




The weather started out warm, but soon enough a cold wind from the bay started up. Devin decided to wear his stegosaurus hat.







Given his propensity for dropping food, he made quick friends with a little puppy named Seren.




After eating lots of barbecue and beating the piñata until it spilled its candy, we decided to head home.

Devin will take up to twenty steps and then stumble. He is not deterred.

The Evening Mini "Little Wiggle"

Lately, after Devin has had his bath, while he is having his last bottle before bed, he gets very snugly and happy and does a mini "little wiggle" dance. It's pretty much the cutest thing. Ever. This video does not do the mini "little wiggle" justice.

Alameda Antiques Faire

Auntie Loralie, Auntie Angela, and I took Devin out to enjoy the sunshine at the Antiques Faire on Sunday. I got Devin a vintage woodblock print with "Dd" and "Dog" on it. I think he likes it.

Spring Sprung!

We had the first warm spring day today so Devin and I took a stroller walk around the neighborhood. He met several people and immediately charmed them.
