Eye Color

When Devin was born his eyes were a deep, charcoal-blue color. They have definitely lightened a bit. This photo shows their color fairly well.

Little Butterball

Devin is getting so big! I was off work today but had to go in for a quick meeting. By popular request, Devin accompanied me. After spending some time with his fan club I got to weigh him and he is now a little over 15 pounds!

Here he is at lunch the other day with Pete and I - the Little Butterball.

Squealer

Devin has learned to squeal (loudly). He will entertain himself or do this back and forth for quite some time. He stops when he sees the iPhone so it's been difficult to capture on video!

Little Seat

Devin was given this little seat. He is still unsure whether or not he likes it. He really likes to move around and it's a bit confining. At least it matches his socks!

Hair

Devin's hair is starting to grow a bit longer on top of his head. I told him today that he looked like a Cupie Doll.

Picante

We had dinner with Peter G and Loralie at Picante restaurant. This is Little D's second visit there. He seems to like it- the din of the patrons, the warmth of the kitchen, and the delicious smell of Mexican food!

Kitty

A sweet little grey kitty followed us on our walk this evening. Devin fell asleep soon afterwards.

Pudgy Feet

Pete thinks Devin's feet are so pudgy that they look as if their circulation has been cut off at the toes.

Spring

Here is the view from Devin's room - wisteria on his balcony and the little forest across the street. He loves to gaze out the windows at all the greenery.

Black Diamond Hills

We went on a 7-mile hike today
in the Black Diamond Hills. The sky and the views were breathtaking. Little D loved every minute of it.

4 months!

Devin is four months old today. He is so funny. He loves to laugh and talk and smile. He is getting bigger right before our eyes.

At La Fiesta de Oliver

We attended Oliver's Baby Shower today. The theme was Mexican with great food and handlebar mustaches galore. Little D had to try one on, too!

Penthouse Dinner

I didn't take any photos, but Devin had a great time at Uncle Peter and Auntie Loralie's new penthouse for dinner. He loves to be around people and showed off his army crawling skills.

A Day at The Races

We took Little D to Golden Gate Fields Race Track to watch the dachshund races which were held in between the horse races. He fell asleep in his stroller in the warm sunshine. The races were hilarious!
